Lil Wayne Responds to Pitbull

Apparently some of the Miami natives are still a little upset with Lil Wayne about his little rant All-Star Weekend. Wezzy did apologize for his actions but it wasn't enough for some such as MIAMI legends "Uncle Luke, Trick Daddy and Pitbull, all which have lt it be known that they are upset with his "distasteful" words.

Pitbull has actually just dropped a dis track targeting Wayne, stating " don't shit where you eat" over a recent internet hit ""Harlen Shake" by Baauer. Weezy was apparently shocked by this and took to twitter saying "Dam pit bull bro I thought u was kool." Pitbull also Mocked Weezy by trying to go at his financial situation saying, "You got money, yeah that's sweet / But we all know Slim and Baby really eat / You talk Miami, yes you talkin' Heat." WOOOOOW, Really tho Pitbull????

Trick Daddy and Uncle Luke are using the sports-related beef to fuel a movement to get Wayne’s Young Money artists out of rotation on local radio and return the shine to Miami-based musicians. "We came up in a city that we lived through three, four or five hurricanes and two major riots. I can’t go nowhere else, this my home," said Trick to Miami’s 99 Jamz last Thursday. Former 2 Live Crew front man Luke penned a scathing editorial about Weezy in the New Miami Times that called for the city and its stars to stop letting Wayne treat Miami “like his b---h."

Wayne was apologetic for his rant in a call to 99 Jamz on February 21. "As far as the city of Miami, I do wanna apologize for the misunderstanding and whatever has everybody thinking that I have something against the city, because that’s totally wrong," Wayne said. "These people accepted me with open arms since day one, since I was a Hot Boy. It’s just totally sports, this ain’t got nothing to do with the city of Miami."

Lil Wayne says he slept with Chris Bosh Wife

The Miami Heat have crossed the line in Weezy eye's. This past weekend at an All-Star event, Wayne unleashed hid wrath on them. Calling out Bosh, Wade and Lebron.

TMZ reported in a video showing his dis-please at a nightclub in Houston. "The NBA banned me from all NBA events ... because the Miami Heat told them to ban me." Its quite clear that Wayne is and i quote "PISSED". He thinks that the Miami Heat Organization shut him out from participating in any of the All-Star festivities. He in turn let it be known to the audience that came out to see him perform with Drake and Birdman.

"When I say f---, you say NBA! When I say f---, you say Miami Heat!"

He added, "F--- LeBron. F--- She Wade. F--- Chris Bosh. F--- all y'all."

Of the players named, Weezy aimed his most personal attack at Bosh.

"I f---- Chris Bosh wife."

So yea he said it, and is talking about Chris Bosh wife Adrienne Bosh!!!!

The NBA has yet to say that yes they have put Weezy on "THE LIST" but lets be for real they did and I personally think its a weak move by the NBA and the Heat if it turns out to be so. At a recent game they told Wayne he had to leave the Lakers vs Heat game on the basis of him cheering for his favorite team the Lakers. Well if thats not a B**ch move i don't know what is.

Wayne took to twitter and here is what he had to say,  "So I’m @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would you believe they got police 2 make me leave? Wow! F#€k da Heat,".

Apparently he beefed with a Heat fan and pointed the "finger guns" at em !!!!!

Looks like Weezy bout to  bring the noise to Heat and lets not forget he is the "fireman". Stay tuned for further details and lets not forget "KEEP IT HIP HOP".

LEGENDARY Laker Owner, Jerry Buss Dies

Los Angeles Lakers owner, Jerry Buss past away today at the age of 80. Buss, who had been battling cancer, succumbed to kidney failure early Monday morning. He took over as owner of the Lakers in 1979. From that point on he built a dynasty and a franchise that many regard as the most prestigious team in sports today. Before becoming the great visionary in one of basketballs prominent front offices, Buss dabbled in a few other lucrative endeavors. With a couple degrees under his belt, an educated Buss tried his hand as a chemist and eventually ventured off successfully into real estate before his journey took him to the NBA. In everything Jerry Buss set foot into he looked to win, and winning was his forte.

After acquiring the Lakers from former owner Jack Kent Cook, Buss helped formulate a new era of basketball the NBA hadn’t seen yet. He took the pizazz of Hollywood, transitioned it to the hardwood and the Los Angeles Lakers would dawn the nickname “ShowTime”.  In his long stint with LA he would win 10 NBA Championship’s. It would all begin with a solid foundation built with players like Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and James Worthy. With these all-star caliber players Buss would have the Lakers competing for a title every year. Like everything else, all good things must come to an end and that first Laker dynasty would sail off into the sunset but another would eventually brew. To this day one of the biggest sports acquisitions in the history of sports is that of Shaquille O’neal. Jerry Buss would use Hollywood and of course a well-endowed pay day to lure the most dominate big man in the league from the east coast. After that Buss and GM at the time Jerry West, would steal a youngster by the name of Kobe Bryant from Charlotte in the 1996 draft. Together with a few veterans these 2 mega stars would run off 3 more Championships for Buss. The reign wouldn’t end there though; after the departure of O’neal, Buss and the front office would do some more wheeling and dealing and acquire a 7 foot, ball handler by the name of Pao Gasol for practically nothing. This new tandem of Gasol and superstar Kobe Bryant would capture not 1 but 2 more rings for Jerry Buss. The dynasty’s and the prestige that Buss has created for the Los Angeles Lakers will never be duplicated by another owner in the NBA and his legacy will set precedence throughout the history of professional sports forever.

DMX arrested for Driving without License

DMX has to pay a visit to a place that is oh so familiar to him over the past few years.

Early yesterday morning DMX was arrested for driving without a license. South Carolina Police spotted the MC around 2 a.m. driving a 1978 Buick. He was in the vehicle with his 5 month old daughter. He was then transported to Spartanburg Detention Center where he only stayed about 5 hours before making bail.

After being released, here is what he told reporters...

"No, I didn't have a license ... put the cuffs on me. Brought me here. I paid the money. Basically, just 5 hours wasted for nothing."

Yea Yea Yea ... this is a never ending story coming from X . This cat seems to live in trouble. He must enjoys the run ins that he has with the law. His most recent offense comes from a seat belt ticket received while driving in L.A. in January 2012.

Family of Emmett Till Find Lil Wayne Lyrics Offensive

So here we go Weezy is n the news yet again. Its not Necessarily good news either The family of Emmett Till is not happy with a lyric in a song recently released by Wayne. We all know Mr. Carter always has some type of controversial lyrics but many think this has crossed the line.

The track titled "Karate Chop" released this past weekend is a remix to a original song by Future. This lyric that is causing so much trouble goes like this "Beat that p---y up like Emmett Till.".   In a recent interview with Your Black World's Dr Boyce Watkins, the family stated their disapproval.

"Our family was very, very offended, very hurt," Gordon-Taylor said. "Disturbed by it…Our young people they emulate what they see, what they hear and what they’re immersed in. And then we question them as they grow up and become citizens and they’re supposed to be productive in society and they’re not productive. And society is already criminalizing our young, black men at every opportunity that they have. So it just really concerns us that here you are using Emmett Till’s name in such an egregious way, and you’re not having any respect for yourselves as well as our family. And that’s the biggest concern. We’re concerned about our young people as well as the image of Emmett Till."

Gordon-Taylor and the Rainbow PUSH Coalition are trying to get the song banned. Saying that the artist should have more integrity to not release the track. In the mean time the family has reached out to Weezy and Future with no response.

In my eyes, yes the lyric is dis-tasteful. There is a question as to why weezy has been shot after. Its not my 1st time hearing the civil rights figure name being used. At the end of the day, as entertainers, bloggers, or whatever you position is in this industry, we have to watch what we say and do. As all the "Old Heads" told me somebody is watching your every move. Now, we all know Wayne meant no harm and it probably was just as i call it "In the heat of the Rhyme". So banning the song isn't the answer because neither artist not label is gonna miss out on a chance to make money from it. Maybe, just ask for wayne  to change his verse. That way all is happy. RESPECT and LOVE and always Keep it HIP HOP

Saints get Payton and Hire Ryan to head Defense

Less than one week after the NFL season has ended the New Orleans Saints are pretty active in their front office. They get back their commander and chief Sean Payton back at the helm and add some help by hiring Rob Ryan as defensive coordinator. If you remember former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams was ousted as a result of the Saints so called bounty scandal. A scandal that left all players and the head coach vindicated. In this upcoming season the Saints are hoping that new coordinator, Rob Ryan can come in and bring some of those aggressive schemes with a defense that already has a lot of talent but simply needs direction. With a phenomenal arsenal of weapons on the offensive side of the ball, scoring points has never been an issue but keeping the scoring down was definitely an issue for the Saints this past season. In their defense they had a lot of personnel changes due to injuries and off the field issues but with a wiz like Ryan on the sidelines and no off the field distractions, the Saints should be a lot more solid on both sides of the ball next season.

Rob Ryan comes over from a struggling and under achieving Dallas Cowboy team who like the Saints were plagued by injuries. Even with many injuries to the best players on Ryan’s squad, defensively the Cowboys held their own against several formidable opponents. Due to inconsistency on the Dallas offense, the Cowboys fell a game short of the playoffs but still had some impressive wins thanks largely in part to Rob Ryan’s confusing scheme calling. A couple notable wins include a waltz in division win over New York, stunning the Giants on opening night; Eli was as flustered as we’ve ever seen him. Another premiere win against a premiere quarterback was at home against Rothlisberger and the Steelers. That game Ryan outcoached the Steelers and his schemes forced Big Ben on heels all night. Although it wasn’t much to brag about Ryan and the defense was a big reason the Cowboys pulled off a division sweep against arch rival Philly. All in all, the New Orleans Saints are getting the perfect coach for the talent of players they possess. Ryan will utilize players like Vilma and Fujita in brilliant packages that will help disguise the schemes while at the same time exploiting the weaknesses of the offenses they face. This Saints acquisition was no doubt a smart move and at the very least will keep them competing in the NFC South.

Despite all of the negative talk surrounding the two, it is great to see them together happy and enjoying themselves. I think everyone should just but out and allow them to live their lives. People make mistakes and Chris made a big one , many will never forget but at least learn how to forgive..

JOE BUDDEN "NO LOVE LOST" Album Review

JOE BUDDEN is back!!!! Yesterday Budden released his 3rd studio album "No Love Lost" yesterday February 5th. With the 1st single "She don't Put it Down" ft Fabolous, Lil Wayne and Tank. This single def seems to show he is back. Other features on the album include Wiz Khalifah and French Montana. Looks like Budden pulled out all the stops with this one.

With some sources only predicting that Budden is only gonna sell 25,000 to 30,000 the 1st week, it seems like he has some HATERS out there. Obviously they havent paid close attention to the album. He has always been a very underated MC. Which brings me to believe that most are only paying attention to the issues he has had in his personal life. Maybe its those that just watch "Love and Hip Hop" and judge his music off of that. He is a Lyracist and some only wanna hear a good party anthem, but that isnt Hip Hop. Since when did telling a legit story in your muzic become irrelavent.

The fact of the matter is "No Love Lost" is a Lyricist album and IAMTHEINFLUENC gives it a thumbs up. Joe Budden def has our love and respect over here. Its Hip Hop telling stories and keepin it real. Good album go cop it and always remeba KEEP IT HIP HOP.
